A room will be available at the end of May with us, Alexandra and Paul. Therefore, we are looking for a cool roommate.
Location
The apartment is very centrally located near the Spisertor. It takes a little more than 10 minutes to walk to the train station, and the bus and Appenzeller-Bahn stop 3 minutes from the front door. And if you fall out the door, you are practically in the city center.
It is important to mention that we do not have an elevator. Unfortunately, our apartment is not accessible for people with disabilities.
Layout of the apartment
The apartment has 5 rooms plus a dining kitchen. There is a large, bright living room and a large work/hobby room. There are two bathrooms. One of them you will share with Paul, the other is ensuite to the third room. Finally, our highlight is the balcony with the best view of the city center. The balcony and living room are on the northwest side of the house, giving us the best view of the sunset in summer.
Living together
It is important to us that our living together goes beyond just sharing the rent. We maintain a friendly coexistence, which often leads to shared meals, outings to cafes, or walks. We are both employed, meaning that during the week the WG atmosphere is rather relaxed. However, guests are always welcome. On weekends, spending more time together in the living room or going out is also no problem.
Your new roommates
I (Paul) am 26 years old and moved to St. Gallen last October. I am just starting a PhD in heat pump technology and work at OST. Generally, I am quite active; when I come home from work, I usually go to exercise outdoors. When I am at home, I am happy when someone is there to chat or occasionally enjoy an evening with good food and Netflix.
And I, Alexandra, am 25 years old. I am currently doing my Master's in Social Work at ZHAW and simultaneously work as a social worker. In my free time, I enjoy reading and cooking and meeting friends for sports or coffee.
About you
We would like a roommate who is also in their mid-20s and has a similar idea of living together as we do. It is also important to us that the cleaning schedule is followed and that the apartment remains in a pleasant condition.
