Hello dear interested party,

We are Lucas (34) and Tim (27). We are both musicians, Tim on the electric guitar and Lucas on the drums.

Tim has been in the audio/video industry for 10 years and recently started studying audio engineering. Lucas is a trained production mechanic.

Our shared apartment is located in an old, stylishly and charmingly renovated former farmhouse with about 270m of living space, a large and cozy garden, and plenty of space for hobbies. The house is located in Ricketwil, a quiet farming village, about 5 minutes by car from Winterthur-Seen and 10 minutes from Winterthur-Grüze.
Regarding public transport: the nearest post bus stop Tolhusen is about a 10-minute walk away, from there about 25 minutes to Winterthur HB.

Our house impresses with a beautiful mix of old stucco ceilings, tiled and Swedish stoves, and wood-paneled walls. It offers a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances from Miele/V-Zug, a top modern bathroom, and a laundry room. Beautiful and modern oak parquet floors are laid almost everywhere.

Your room is about 17 m² and already includes a large desk as well as a direct Ethernet connection with 10Gbit/s up-/downstream (Init7 fiber optic connection). If needed, additional furniture can also be provided. The existing desk can also be easily stored if you want to bring your own furniture.

Of course, various other rooms are available for shared use:

• large, bright living room with high ceiling and Swedish stove
• cozy dining room with tiled stove, wooden walls/ceiling, and old built-in cupboard - "Fondue room" :)
• attic, insulated and with window (storage and hobby room)
• cellar (currently band room and storage)
• workshop next to the laundry room (currently storage and hobby room)

The rent is CHF 1350.- and includes all additional costs (heating oil, chimney sweep, gardener, electricity, (waste) water, internet, etc.). The rental agreement can be concluded indefinitely.

It is important to us to maintain a certain order - therefore we share the household tasks among ourselves and assign each other chores. :)
