It is a light-filled corner room (approx. 14 sqm), with two large windows and real beautiful wooden parquet. It is located on the first floor, in a free-standing old building just a few steps from the Bäckeranlage. The shared apartment extends over two floors and offers per floor - a kitchen, one shower, and two toilets each - 6 people live upstairs and 5 downstairs. In addition, a cozy living room invites you to linger on the first floor. The common areas are furnished, the offered room is rented unfurnished. Additionally, a washing machine and a dryer are available in the house. Despite the central location in District 4 (3 minutes walk to the Bäckeranlage, 20 minutes to HB Zurich), it is a peaceful corner and a tidy and well-kept shared apartment - even if the house may look shabby from the outside and is full of graffiti.

We are looking for a very quiet, clean, and friendly female roommate (preferably also a week-long resident) who can fit in well. We all have only a little visit (1 x month) to maintain the quiet character of the shared apartment. Cleaning fairies are just as welcome as introverted natures 😌.

Our community consists of ten women and one man aged 20 to 48 years. We place great value on cleanliness, order, and respectful interaction - humor can’t hurt. Rarely is everyone there at the same time, but we still enjoy nice conversations or shared moments.

The rent includes all additional costs - including Ethernet, Serafe fees, and a cleaning service, which cleans the kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways once a week. Twice a year, we all carry out a traditional "semester cleaning" together.
