Single room for rent - 8046 Zürich, Mühlackerstrasse 118

Hello everyone!

We're looking for someone to move into our 3-room flat in Zürich-Affoltern by June.
You would be living with Benjamin and Matteo, both 25 years old and doing PhDs (Materials Science and Physics).

The apartment is bright, near Katzensee, and has good bus connections (61, 37, 32). It's about 15 minutes to the city center by S6 from Bahnhof Affoltern, and about 15 minutes to ETH Hönggerberg by bus or bike. Coop, Lidl, and Migros are all close by.

We've got a big living room and a terrace with a BBQ and lounge area — perfect for summer evenings! Last year we had a bunch of BBQs while the weather was good, and we definitely want to keep that tradition going. There's also a private washing machine and dryer in the flat, and a basement space where you can store your bike.

The available room is large, bright, and has direct access to the terrace. You'll share a bathroom (with a bathtub) with one of us.
Rent is 950 CHF per month plus 50 CHF for utilities.

A bit about us:
We both enjoy hiking, sports, and are quite active, but the flat itself has a quiet and chill atmosphere good for focusing on work or relaxing after a day at ETH. We speak German and English (Matteo also speaks Italian).

We'll have a regular cleaning schedule to keep things easy and fair for everyone.
By the way, Matteo and I haven't lived together before, but we're really looking forward to setting up a friendly and organized flatshare.

We're looking for a young professional or PhD student around our age.
