Planchouet is a charming hamlet in nature, nestled at 1,500 meters above sea level, in the heart of the largest ski area in Switzerland. The 4 Valleys area offers, summer and winter, numerous activities in an alpine environment where life is good.

Located in the municipality of Nendaz, in the center of Valais, on a plateau overlooking the Rhône valley and offering a grand panorama of the Alps, Planchouet combines charm and authenticity.

In summer, it is the starting point for many walks on the 4 bisses that cross the municipality: the Vieux bisse, the Vex bisse, the Milieu bisse, and the En-Bas bisse. One can also discover a magnificent wooden chapel, erected in 1930 in the heart of the forest.

Planchouet is one of the 15 villages and hamlets of the municipality of Nendaz. Many infrastructures meet the needs of its population. Students are fortunate to complete their entire compulsory education on the municipal territory, from 1H to 11CO.

The municipality of Nendaz is located in the middle of the Rhône valley, on the left bank. Its vast territory is unique: it follows the contours of the valley of the same name and extends from the plain to the snow-capped peaks.
