We were able to acquire the house as a dilapidated storage room/barn in 1998. Because it is located in the agricultural zone, we had to clarify whether renovation with conversion into a residential house is possible. Because there was 1 room with an old bed in the building, the bailiff secured us the building permit.
We were able to start the construction work in 1999. With a lot of passion and our own efforts, a jewel was created. After we moved away due to old age, we rented out the Stöckli. This will be free again at the end of August.
The property is located in Laternengraben in Heimisbach, municipality of Trachselwald. Remote location in a group of houses with 2 neighbours. The Stöckli could be the ideal object for writers or artists, but a massage practice would also be possible (there was one in the neighbouring house for a long time until its retirement). But the Stöckli is also suitable for a family.
