The neighborhood

Wollishofen is located on the left bank of Lake Zurich and is a beautiful neighborhood known for its two lakeside parks, the Landiwiese and the Saffa Island. This neighborhood in the center of Zurich is also known for its good cuisine, including Irish pubs, casual student spots, and a variety of international restaurants and small shops. Other highlights of the neighborhood include the Rote Fabrik, a former factory repurposed as a center for performing arts, and the quirky local museum of Wollishofen. The incredible Reitberg Museum is just a short hike from Wollishofen. Several bus, tram, and S-Bahn lines are available in the neighborhood, making it easy to get around.
