Zermatt is located at 1,620 m above sea level and is world-famous for its mountain, the Matterhorn. But its special character, friendly inhabitants, and traditions also make this village in the Upper Valais unique. The center is easily accessible from the apartment. Zermatt itself is car-free and can be reached by road from Täsch with a special permit or by the Matterhorn-Gotthard Bahn from Täsch. The Täsch-Zermatt connection runs around the clock from Thursday to Sunday, and until midnight for the rest of the week. In the village itself, transport is done by electric taxis or horse-drawn carriages. Zermatt offers a very generous range of leisure activities. Not only sports enthusiasts enjoy the wide variety of leisure activities such as skiing, hiking, cycling, and golfing, but culture lovers also get their money's worth. Zermatt is a dream destination for everyone.
