Furnished apartment for rent - 4052 Basel, Gellertstrasse 34

Since I will be traveling from February to the end of May 2026, I would like to sublet most of my apartment along with my very lovable cat Shanti during this time. It is very important to me to find someone who loves animals and will take good and responsible care of Shanti. She is an outdoor cat, has a cat flap and food dispensers, so she can be alone for a weekend. Preferably not much longer. She loves to cuddle and is very uncomplicated and gentle.

About the apartment: The apartment is located in the quiet Gellert district with plenty of greenery around and little noise. You can reach the city and Basel train station in about 10 minutes. I would like to keep my own room as storage for my personal belongings and therefore do not want to charge the full rent for the apartment.

There is also another small bedroom (Note, the sofa bed will be replaced by a proper bed!) as well as a spacious open living room with an office area. The kitchen has a large fridge with a dishwasher and a private washing machine (dryer for shared use in the basement). The bathroom has a window with natural light and a bathtub. There is also a small balcony with direct access to the green area in front of the house.

The apartment is great for a single person or couple. Families are less suitable, as I would like to keep my room as mentioned.

The apartment is fully furnished and comes with internet/TV/home insurance.

The rent is 1,600 CHF per month, all inclusive.
