Where the Thur meets the Rhine, near the largest floodplain landscape in the Swiss Midlands lies the village of Flaach. Those who love water, nature, and the rural area are in the right place in Flaach. The friendly community in the Zurich wine region is located at about 360 m above sea level, covers 1016 ha (of which 34% forest), and currently has about 1,230 inhabitants. Kindergarten, primary, and secondary schools are attended in the community. The tax rate is currently 110% (excluding churches).
The very good connections with the post bus to the S-Bahn station Henggart (about 11 minutes with the S33 to Winterthur HB) are also very attractive. There is also the possibility for Park&Ride in Rafz (direct connection to Zurich).
