Modern living in the 'Old School House'
The school house Alchenstorf was built in 1861. Many generations of students went in and out of there. Since the construction of the new school house, the classes have moved out. In an elaborate process, the property was converted into a residential building with six apartments. The building was gutted and completely rebuilt from the inside. Thus, it meets the latest requirements regarding insulation, soundproofing, and building technology. In collaboration with the monument preservation, an exciting mix of historical and modern elements was created.
