Ittigen has excellent public transport connections: S-Bahn and bus lines connect Ittigen and Worblaufen with the surrounding villages quickly and frequently. The journey time to Bern (main station) is a maximum of 15 minutes.
The Bern-Worb S-Bahn line serves the "Ittigen" and "Papiermühle" stops in Ittigen every 15 minutes - during peak hours in the morning and evening even every 7 1/2 minutes in both directions.
Bus lines connect the "Ittigen" (line 43) and "Papiermühle" (line 40/41) stations with the northern part of the municipality (Kappelisacker). From the "Papiermühle" station, two bus connections (line 40/41) also lead to Bern, with a direct connection to Bernmobil.
All S-Bahn lines pass through Worblaufen station. The connections to the surrounding villages and to Bern are very good. A bus also goes to the Bern Nord quarter. On weekends, Ittigen and Worblaufen are served at night by the Moonliner.
