The GEWONA Nord-West is a cooperative. Tenants become members according to the statutes. They subscribe to shares amounting to about three months' rent. These are not interest-bearing and are paid directly into the account of GEWONA NORD-WEST. By subscribing to shares, the obligation for a rental guarantee in the form of the usual bank guarantee is eliminated. Participation as a member brings great advantages in terms of security against termination and for stable rents. Since the cooperative calculates with a cost rent, unjustified rent increases or the usual adjustment to the consumer price index or the local and neighborhood customary prices are not an issue.

According to our guidelines, we rent 3.5-room apartments to at least 2 people.
