The late Gothic residential building from the year 1554 with stair tower has many beautiful and well-preserved late Gothic elements both on the facade and inside.
On the west facade, a profiled tuff stone portal and profiled window frames have been preserved.
On the north facade, there is the house entrance at the recessed stair tower and on the 2nd floor a bricked-up door. Access to the tower floor is via a stone staircase on the outside wall.
Also on the south facade, profiled tuff stone frames of some tall rectangular windows have been preserved.
Remnants of the valuable interior fittings in the stairwell: portal on the ground floor, tuff stone, arch in double hollow, carved date on the support: 1554, in between an empty coat of arms shield.

Inside the 1st floor, the room layout and furnishings from the 16th century are almost entirely preserved: the beam ceilings with vaulted mortar fillings with inscription. The floors in the entrance area are made of terracotta tiles. In the living room, the strip parquet and in the kitchen, the slate floor are original.
Inside the 2nd floor, the typical late Gothic round arch portal at the entrance door.
Valuable late Gothic inventory in the apartment interior which is well preserved.
The dining room, the living room, and the bedroom are intact with local late Gothic paneling. The central beam bears an inscription.
In the stately panel room, there is an original gilt stone oven on the north wall to the bedroom with a beautifully crafted coat of arms, the initials of Alexander Vanroth's (A .l.Mitte "V" and R.B.) and the year 1864.
In the panel room, in the dining room, and in the northern bedroom, there are several built-in niches that are closable and open.
The unobstructed view to the south of the bishop's castle with the modernly added "Botta dome" and the view to the west over the Rhone valley gives the whole historic house a special touch.
