The ancient mill of Garaverio of which there is an old purchase document dating back to 1651, with an attached map/drawing of the time indicating it upstream of the village of Garaverio and was fed at the time by a small lake. In recent years, with the creation of the springs for the municipalities of Barbengo and Morcote, it was fed by the stream that flows along the border of the properties.
The building is solid and well protected by a new roof dating back about twenty years. Inside there are two millstones that worked either individually or together.

MÜHLE VOM 1600:

Die alte Mühle von Garaverio, von der es ein altes Kaufdokument aus dem Jahr 1651 gibt, mit einer beigefügten Karte/Zeichnung aus dieser Zeit, die zeigt, dass sie flussaufwärts des Dorfes Garaverio lag und damals von einem kleinen See gespeist wurde. In den letzten Jahren, mit der Schaffung von Quellen für die Gemeinden Barbengo und Morcote, wurde es von dem Bach gespeist, der an der Grenze der Grundstücke fliesst.
Das Gebäude ist solide und durch ein neues, etwa 20 Jahre altes Dach gut geschützt. Im Innern befinden sich zwei Mühlsteine, die entweder einzeln oder gemeinsam arbeiteten.
