Rare gem with a beautiful view
This gem is located at about 1090 meters above sea level, above Raron on the southern slope in the hamlet of Ritzibodu. The hamlet is accessible by car from spring to late autumn. The calm and extremely sunny location makes it the ideal place for those seeking relaxation all year round.
The house, built in 1647, was authentically and professionally renovated in 1990 by local craftsmen.
Two bedrooms and an anteroom with sleeping space can accommodate up to 6 people.
The living room and kitchen form a single level.
The property has been lovingly adapted to today's needs, while the original materials and details have been deliberately preserved.
A solar system with batteries easily supplies the house with electrical energy. Hot water is produced by gas and cooking is also done with gas. Heating is with a wood stove.
The roof is nicely covered with traditional stone tiles. The beautiful courtyard serves as seating with a magnificent view of the Rhône valley. A large awning provides plenty of shade in the middle of summer.
The car can easily be parked on the street about 50 meters above the house.
