Located at the edge of the forest and in the agricultural zone, this holiday home is just above the Wengwald station. Thanks to its hillside location, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views from Wengen into the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the impressive mountain world. You can reach the house from the Wengwald station via a wide, short, and slightly ascending access road of about 250 meters. The center of Wengen is about 600 meters walking distance.
The property features 2 cozy seating areas, and the stay and view on the spacious balcony are unparalleled. The "view side" with living and dining room is almost completely glazed, providing a wonderful view and allowing plenty of light into the living area. On this floor, there is also a small room and a bathroom.
In the basement, there is the main bedroom and another room, as well as a bathroom with shower. Also located here is a small cellar and the house technology. There is NO internal connection between the two floors, but it is documented in the plans and could be implemented.
The building envelope was completely renovated by a professional (the owner himself) at the time of purchase. A new roof was built, the windows were renewed, the shutters were replaced (made of aluminum), and additional insulation was added. The front door and entrance area were also optimized, and the electrical installations were replaced. Additionally, remotely programmable electric heaters were installed.
The interior was selectively optimized and technically and contemporarily adapted or renewed.
