EXCEPTIONAL DEAL!
Lannaz (Evolène) is the "village at the bottom of the valley" sung by Edith Piaf in "Les Trois Cloches" by Jean Villard (known as Gilles, who supposedly wrote it here in 1939). The breathtaking beauty of this site is guaranteed by its classification of national importance.
This mountain paradise is beautifully set on a 760 m² plot, with a guaranteed lifetime unobstructed view of the Dent Blanche and the Dents de Veisivi. It is absolutely unique, as it includes the famous chalet that has been immortalized for over 100 years by all the great painters and photographers, in perspective of the famous St-Laurent chapel, and the ski lifts are nearby, while the main village of Evolène is only 2 km away, accessible by a cantonal road open all year round.
Although the slate roof (or "lauzes") has been completely redone, the entire buildings (especially the adjoining barn) are still "old-fashioned" and to meet current comfort standards, it requires a complete renovation that will allow for a tripling of the living space.
There is no comparable real estate object in Lannaz, and given the detailed zoning plan as well as legal protection measures, there will never be another of such quality...
