A lot of charm for this amazing village house with impressive volumes, located in the heart of the village of Aire-la-Ville.
Its original structure dates back to 1792. A significant renovation was carried out in 1993 by, among others, carpenters and joiners from the canton of Valais. They managed to highlight the volume of the building: 910m3, by creating half levels that allow for a completely open view between the ground floor and the top floor. Beautifully thick period stone exterior walls, parquet floors, others in honeycomb tiles, tiling for the kitchen, interior walls in exposed stone, and these incredible woodwork. All very elegant, a real work of art.
Access to this house is through a small garden, equipped with a lovely pergola and shrubs preserving the privacy of the place. A friendly outdoor space.
The interior access to the house is directly into the large kitchen and dining area. The kitchen space is perfectly equipped with a large central island offering plenty of storage as well as a dining area that can accommodate many guests.
The following rooms are organized on several half levels:
* living room with fireplace, exposed beams, window overlooking the garden and charming bull's-eye window
* living room arranged as a TV corner with large bay windows
* 1 bedroom - 1 small closed dressing area - 1 bedroom with sink leading to a balcony with direct access to the outside
* an office space with a bull's-eye window
* 1 master bedroom - 1 bathroom with shower, bathtub, sink, and toilet - space under the roof
The basement offers: a hall with sink - 1 guest toilet - 1 laundry room with a large basin - 1 wine cellar with pebbles on the floor - 1 technical room with boiler and heating installation - 1 cellar-storage space.
On the technical side: the building offers double-glazed windows, heating by Cadiom radiators (by waste incineration) since 2014 and fiber optic.
The municipality of Aire-la-Ville has, among other things, a nursery, a primary school, a tennis court, an Agorespace, a tea-room grocery store, a gourmet restaurant, and many associations. Road and highway access is nearby. Bernex and its shops are located just over 3km away. The public transport offer is substantial. A village in the countryside but still close to all amenities.
