The house is located in the protected hamlet of Carre d'Amont. It is an old village house, fully renovated to current energy standards and consisting of a main bedroom on the ground floor with a dressing room and separate bathroom leading to a small private terrace, while the two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom.
The old barn, in continuity with the existing house, completes the whole to offer a new large bright living room with double height featuring a living room, dining room, kitchen, and guest toilet.
The barn area is heated with hydraulic underfloor heating while the existing house retains its original radiators. A new heat pump, coupled with photovoltaic solar panels on the barn roof, supplies the heating systems.
The charm of the old is highlighted by the new elements in the barn area (new exposed concrete walls). The entrance to the house is through the barn area and leads into a courtyard, shared with the neighboring house.
A garden completes this unique property.
