Saas-Grund, in the beautiful Saastal, offers everything that nature lovers and sports enthusiasts are looking for. The village and its surroundings are known for the wonderful, intact nature and the wide network of hiking trails. In addition, Saas-Grund is well connected to public transport and is only a short half-hour drive from the vibrant Visp.
The world-famous "Pearl of the Alps" Saas-Fee is also located opposite the Triftalp, just a stone's throw away.

Above Saas-Grund, at 2000 m above sea level, the mountain inn Triftalp is for sale in the midst of the larch forest. The inn is ideally located on the high trail Simplon – Giw-Gspon – Allmagelleralp and directly on the hiking trail from Saas-Grund to Kreuzboden. In winter, guests can reach the inn via the middle station "Trift" of the cable car towards Kreuzboden or by skiing down and then a short, about 15-minute walk to the mountain inn.
The "Triftalp" is located in an area that is considered a paradise for bikers, hikers, and snowshoe hikers. In summer, the mountain inn is accessible by car for the tenant, and in winter, a special permit is available for a private snowmobile caterpillar vehicle. The Triftalp inn combines countless highlights and offers a lot of potential for its future owners and operators. The building was hollowed out in 2011/2012, completely renovated from the ground up, and completed with an extension, covering a generous area of 445 m2. It combines accommodation options, a seminar room, and a beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor areas. The restaurant makes guests feel right at home. The wooden sight elements combined with the fireplace create a very cozy atmosphere, while the guest area is flooded with light thanks to the large windows and is extremely inviting. The interior can accommodate 32 guests, the sun terrace for 50 people, as well as an unobstructed, breathtaking view of the Mischabel mountain range. The kitchen, equipped with an electric grill and gas installation, is fitted with modern appliances in like-new condition, and furniture and inventory are available, allowing for immediate operation.
In the basement, there is a bright double room with shower and toilet, as well as two spacious country cellars as storage rooms, a cold room, laundry room, technical room, an area for wood storage, and plenty of additional storage space. On the first floor, there is the landlord's room with a practical office area, which is very bright and inviting and has a bathroom with shower. This floor also has four guest double rooms, with wonderful views of the surrounding nature, as well as a toilet and a separate shower. Numerous tasteful rustic-charming details create a particularly harmonious atmosphere throughout the guest area. In the attic, there is a multi-bed room with accommodation for 13 people and adjacent a seminar room with sound system and projector. An ideal place for club outings, corporate events, or private celebrations.
The building is heated with wood chip heating, and the heat is comfortably distributed via underfloor heating; a heat input of 9 kWh can be electrically heated. In addition, there is a boiler with a 2000-liter water tank.
