Horgen is located on the western shore of Lake Zurich, about 15 kilometers south of Zurich. The nearly 25,000 residents of Horgen are spread across nine districts, extending from the lakeshore to the Albis ridge in the west. The historic town center harmoniously combines with numerous shopping opportunities as well as gastronomic and cultural offerings with the surrounding modern architecture. Particularly popular in the summer months is the Badi Käpfnach with its impressively built swimming pool extending into Lake Zurich.
