The project includes two buildings with a rectangular floor plan and four above-ground floors, connected by a common basement. The facades are designed with horizontal bands featuring alternating openings and closed elements that shape the rhythm of the architecture. The Residenza Viola is characterized by a ceramic facade cladding, a rarely used material in residential construction. The living areas are oriented to the southwest, towards Giubiasco, while the bedrooms face northeast, towards Bellinzona. From the first to the third floor, all apartments offer spacious terraces that guarantee privacy and natural light. The basement contains parking spaces, storage rooms, technical rooms, and bicycle parking. Each floor has laundry rooms/cellars that are individually used by the apartments. Communal green spaces are located in the northwest and in the central area between the buildings.

Giubiasco is a district of the city of Bellinzona, surrounded by nature. It developed along the banks of the Ticino and at the edge of the Piano di Magadino. Until 2017, the district was an autonomous municipality and therefore has all the essential services that can be conveniently reached on foot without having to drive to the city center. Furthermore, several of Switzerland's main roads and highways converge in Bellinzona and branch out from there, as does the railway network, which provides connections to Lugano and Locarno in just a few minutes, to the north to the cantons of Switzerland, and to the south to Milan and Lombardy. The road connections to the north and south are easily accessible via the Bellinzona Sud motorway junction. The history of the city with its castles attracts many tourists, especially in the summer season, and nature lovers can enjoy walks and hikes in the surrounding area, either on foot or by bicycle.
