The Jugga House is a complete renovation. The building from 1988 is being stripped back to its shell and completely renovated in terms of design and energy efficiency, so that it meets the demands of high living comfort. As with the Castalta House, parquet floors, wooden windows, and various wooden fittings create a successful living atmosphere. On the valley and view side, there is a loggia running the entire length of the building, which is adjacent to the rooms and living areas. All floors are accessible by an elevator.
The two apartments on the access level have a storage area in the attic, while the other apartments have a utility room within the apartment.
The house has a ski room on the entrance level and an underground garage with 6 parking spaces as well as storage areas for bicycles.
The energy supply is sustainable and modern: The heat generation for both houses is provided by a pellet heating system. The photovoltaic system on the roofs generates electrical energy, which is used in the house, and the surplus is fed into the grid.
The renovation will receive an energy certificate of C or higher from the GEAK (www.geak.ch).
