Single room for rent - 4056 Basel, Saint-Louis-Strasse

Since our roommate is starting a new study, we are renting a beautiful bright room (approx. 16 m2) in our shared house in St. Louis from May 1st for 850.- Fr. including utilities.

We live in a beautiful old building with a large garden in a quiet neighborhood in St. Louis near the border. 10 bike minutes from downtown Basel. The 3 tram is a 5-minute walk away, as is a large supermarket and the center of St. Louis.

On the ground floor is the large living kitchen and a huge living room with a wood stove. On the first floor are the bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub/shower. In the spacious basement, there is a workshop that we are currently setting up. The garden with fire bowl is huge, and there is a large vegetable bed, fruit trees, plenty of roses, and a sauna with a wood stove;)

We are a colorful mixed creative bunch and currently live in the house with four people.

To give you a little insight, here is a small introduction about us

Jade, 23 years old, comes from Brittany, speaks French and fluent English, is finishing her studies in Cinema in Paris this summer and works part-time in Basel.

Nils, 24 years old, originally from Basel, is in the last semester of his training to become a primary school teacher and is very enthusiastic about sports.

Both together live in a room and have been involved in various woofing projects in recent months, are passionate about permaculture, and are accordingly often in nature and in the garden.

Dennis, 47 years old, a stone sculptor by profession, spends his time when he is not chiseling stones mountain biking (preferably downhill ;)..making music and usually has many projects in the house and garden.

And last but not least, Oskar (cat), 14 years old, the furry good spirit of the house..usually super chilled in the house and garden and is always happy for mutual petting.

In our daily coexistence, a supportive, mindful togetherness is important to us, open communication, and of course, a lot of space for each individual. It is important to us that we are not a purpose-driven shared flat and do not want to be;) The house and garden come with work, and you should bring enough space for it.
