Single room for rent - 1020 Renens VD, Rue De Lausanne

A room is available in our 4.5-room apartment in Renens, ideally for master students of UNIL/EPFL/HEP/...

- Obligation to take over part of the furniture (~850.-)

- Available from August 2025 (possibly mid-July)


This is the room on the left on the plan. It is furnished with a large wardrobe, a queen-size bed, a shelving unit and a chair (no desk). The bathroom is shared with a man.


The apartment is 103 m^2, has a fitted kitchen, a living room, 2 bathrooms and of course 3 bedrooms. We also have a small balcony with plants and a homemade sofa. The apartment has a cellar and it is possible to store your bicycle in a storage room (deposit 50.-). There is a coin-operated washing machine for the whole building (it is possible to reserve your place 2-3 days in advance). It is necessary to take over part of the furniture for about 850.- (to be discussed depending on what the person moving out wants to take with them). In the living room we have a TV (without subscription), an Xbox 360 and a Switch. The building is well located, 12 minutes from EPFL/Unil by bike or public transport (stop right in front of the door), 20 minutes by bus to Lausanne, 5 minutes from the center of Renens, 10-15 minutes from the train station.


Regarding the two other roommates, we are both master students at EPFL (NX and CS), aged 26 and 23. It's a very relaxed flat share where everyone lives their own life, but we like to involve others to do a bit of everything (taco night, board games, philosophical discussions etc.). We like to organize events with friends (movies, random evenings etc.). So we are looking for someone who suits this atmosphere, without forgetting of course that we spend 90% of our time studying or sleeping.
