We are renting out a large room in our 3-person shared apartment in the center of Liestal for 600.-/month starting September 2025. The living room (directly above the Ziegler bakery) overlooks Rathausstrasse and thus has a direct view of the popular Chienbäse during Fasnacht.

Your room:

-is large and bright

-has 2 windows facing Rosengasse with a view of the church tower

-has a useful built-in wardrobe in the wall.

About the apartment in general:

-We all share the kitchen and living room

-2 bathrooms (walk-in, modern shower)

-The apartment is divided by the staircase. So it feels like there are 2 apartments. In the part of the apartment where your room is located, there is also another small room (used by us as an office/guest room) and a bathroom.

-Laundry room available on the same floor

-large cellar

-bicycle cellar on the same street

-central location (Coop, Migros, Manor, Interdiscount and various restaurants/cafés all in the immediate vicinity)

-In 5 minutes you are at Liestal train station and in 10 minutes in Basel. Liestal is well connected, even the ICE stops here.

-The driving ban on Rathausstrasse allows for a quiet atmosphere.

About us:

We, Melina (25, speech therapist) and Luca (26, studying theology at the University of Basel) are a newly married couple. We will need 2 of the 3 rooms. For the third room, we are looking for a roommate. Since the apartment is separated by the staircase, you can also retreat well.

The room is also very suitable for a weekly resident.
