The room is simply great... 16sqm old building with balcony, real wood parquet (in the entire apartment), elegant paneling and wardrobe.
About the apartment: The 3.5 room apartment covers a total of around 82sqm with two balconies (also suitable for grilling). In addition to the fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), with balcony access, the apartment has 3 bright rooms, which are separately accessible via a wide hallway, as well as a bathroom with bathtub and toilet.
A washing machine and dryer are available in the basement of the house. Sufficient additional storage space for bicycles, skis, wine, etc., is provided by a basement compartment, as well as a bay window.

Location: The apartment is centrally located, conveniently located but still quiet, just around the corner from the Josefswiese. Thus, tram lines 4, 13 and 17 are within a 5-minute walk and the Hardbrücke S-Bahn station as well as bus lines 72 and 31 are less than a 10-minute walk away.
Within a 10-minute walk, in addition to numerous restaurants and shops, there are also the Schiffbau-Schauspielhaus, the Abaton (cinema), the Viadukt, the running track along the Limmat, the Oberer Letten footbath and the Langstrasse – but you probably already know all that ;-)

I am looking for a nice, open-minded person, ideally between 26-40 years old and with shared flat experience. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment ;-)

About me. I am 38, originally from Berlin, but have spent the last few years traveling a lot in Austria and France and have now been in Zurich for about 8 years, where I currently work in the finance sector.
My interests range from traveling, photography and architecture to various sports such as skiing, hiking, ski touring and playing football.
On weekends (and if it works out, sometimes during the week) I like to sit together in the evenings with a wine or beer or eat together. In summer I plan to use the balcony for a shared barbecue. Since I like to have things tidy, but also like to enjoy my free time, a cleaning lady comes regularly.
The room is available from 01.06.2025 (un)furnished and for a fixed/unlimited period. If you are interested, I would be happy to meet you personally to show you the shared flat.
