Hello! As our roommate is moving out of our 3er- WG in Zürich Manegg (Kreis 2), we have a room available starting from the 1st of August (or earlier, end of June, by agreement)!

About us:

We are Isabelle (25, German/American) and Pablo (31, Colombian). Isabelle is doing a PhD in sustainability management at the HSG. In her free time, she enjoys sailing, playing guitar, building Catalan human towers and gardening. Pablo works as an AI Engineer and enjoys dancing Salsa, cooking arepas and hiking/skiing/running. Together we enjoy occasionally cooking at home, chatting in the evening or enjoying a drink on our balcony. We are both very active and busy with friends, hobbies, and travels, yet we also enjoy spending time at home when we are here, as well as having guests over.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a roommate who is between 25 and 35 years old, fluent in English, and working with a stable income and similar working hours to ours. We value open-mindedness, kindness, compassion, respect, autonomy, and cleanliness. As we are both from international backgrounds, we would love to have a roommate who also brings a new perspective into the mix!

The price is CHF 1630, and it includes rent and high speed internet, with Serafe and quarterly energy bills (solar panels on the roof) making up additional costs of < 100 CHF per month.

Our flat is located in the Green City neighborhood, and right next to Zürich Manegg SZU train station, which brings you to Zurich HB in 10 min. With bus 70 you are less than 10 minutes away from Zürich Wiedikon and the lake. On a sunny weekend, walking to the city, or commuting daily by bike is very comfortable. Directly in the building we have a Spar grocery store, across from us a Wüst bakery and a bistro, and within 4 minutes walking distance you can find a Migros, a Kuhn bakery, and other shops. We are surrounded on all sides by nature with forest and the river, which offer plenty of opportunities for walking or jogging in nature, a Vita-parcours, and a lot of wild garlic for making fresh pesto :-). The Green City concept nonetheless offers us all of the comforts and practicalities of living "down-town".

The flat itself is 2.0 sqm with 3 separate bedrooms (each 23 sqm, and no shared walls!) and a well isolated bathroom with a washer & dryer tower. The living room/kitchen is an open concept, with all modern appliances, induction stove, steamer oven, and dishwasher. Throughout the flat there is plenty of organized storage space. The living room and the two bedrooms open to our large balcony with a view of Felsenegg (one of these bedrooms is the one that is free).

Additionally in the basement there is a storage room and a bicycle room.
