In my lovingly furnished apartment, a shared room will be available from 01.09.2025.

About the apartment:
The apartment is located in a well-connected neighborhood in Winterthur. You will share the apartment with me and my 11-year-old cat.
You have access to a spacious living room, a dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom.

The train station and two bus stops with regular connections are just a 3-minute walk away. You can reach the old town of Winterthur by bike in 10 minutes.

About the room:
The room for rent is bright and is approximately 12 square meters. It offers enough space for a bed, wardrobe, and desk. A dresser and a nightstand can be taken over for free from the previous tenant.

Costs:

• Rent: CHF 780.– / month
• Additional costs (electricity & water): approx. CHF 70.– / month (billed quarterly)

About me:
I am Mel, 32 years old, and I am studying social work part-time. In my free time, I do yoga several times a week, enjoy writing, dancing, and singing. I have 3 years of shared living experience and really like this form of living.
My 11-year-old cat is a fixed part of the shared apartment – so you should not have a cat allergy and like animals.
Since we are a 2-person shared apartment, our home should feel like a home for both parties. I am looking for a roommate who also enjoys relaxed and appreciative shared living. There should be enough space for community as well as for retreat. After a long workday, I sometimes appreciate the quiet, but I also like to exchange ideas. It would be nice to share everyday life from time to time and to support each other. I especially value cooking and eating together. Additionally, you should be a non-smoker.

Move-in & Duration:
The room is available from 01.09.2025 or by arrangement. The minimum rental period is 6 months (my current roommate has completed a six-month internship here and will now return to her university).
