What will be available?
From 1.6.2025 to 4.8.2025, a furnished two-room cluster (35 m2 + bathroom) will be available in a 400m2 large shared apartment. The room is oriented to the east and north and has a small balcony in both directions. The rent including utilities is CHF 1370.-. In addition, there is a monthly charge of CHF 343 per adult for basically everything you need (all groceries, internet, etc.).
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a couple (possibly with a child or just an individual) who will take care of our little big home during our absence. Although your stay with us is relatively short, you are willing to contribute to our shared living and share our fundamental values. This includes, among other things, a reasonable and regular contribution to the shared household (cleaning, cooking, etc.), and the fact that you do not have a car.
Who will you live with?
You will share our large shared apartment with eight adults aged between 23 and 36 years. We enjoy active communal living and support each other wherever necessary, but of course, we also respect and appreciate our personal spaces. We almost always have dinner together (deliciously prepared by 1-2 people for everyone who is at home), and the groceries for this are bought together (mostly vegan and organic). Our fresh products come from various vegetable and dairy subscriptions from regional solidarity farms. In bi-weekly shared apartment meetings, we continuously develop our ideas of communal living.
Where do we live?
In the car-free Hunziker area in Oerlikon, we share a large kitchen, two living rooms, two large balconies, and the best pantry in the world on about 400 m². Around the communal areas, there are six acoustically insulated double or single clusters. The area also has various common rooms such as a workshop, a sauna, a co-working space, community gardens, pizza oven, etc., which we can use. The village character of the Hunziker area offers a lively life with various events outside our apartment, and there are many neighborhood groups in which one can get involved.
Interested?
If you like our description, feel free to write us who you are and what is important to you in communal living. We would be happy to invite you to dinner so you can see the premises and get to know us.
We look forward to hearing from you!
