Single room for rent - 8050 Zürich

We are looking for a new roommate for our 3-person shared apartment in Zurich Örlikon on Maienstrasse starting from 01.08.2025.

• You can use half of the wardrobe in the living room for your clothes/stuff.
• Right in front of our building, there is a courtyard with a dining table and benches for shared use (with two other apartments in the same building).

Regarding the planned costs in the shared apartment:

• Your room costs a total of CHF 706.70 per month (including utilities).
• Internet costs CHF 13.30 per month.
• An ewz bill follows approximately every 3 months and amounts to about CHF 50.00 (/3 = about CHF 17.00 per person every 3 months).
• A rental deposit of CHF 2,280.00 is to be paid upon moving in (share per person in the shared apartment).

I am looking for an open-minded, tidy, and uncomplicated person who is independent but also enjoys shared evenings over dinner or a glass of wine – with room for good conversations about everything possible.
I (Vanessa) am 26 years old and currently in the middle of my Master's degree in Psychology. Besides my studies, I work part-time in HR. I originally come from beautiful Fribourg, but Zurich has been my home for several years now. I am a calm, but open and uncomplicated person.
In a shared apartment, respectful, relaxed, and open interaction is important to me. I appreciate shared evenings cooking or chatting in the kitchen, just as much as time for myself (especially during the study phase, I am very absorbed in my studies). I wish for an environment where everyone can communicate openly and honestly, and I also care deeply about a clean and well-kept home.
You will still be living with Lucija in August, who will be moving out in September. She is 25 and works as a recruitment consultant.
