Single room for rent - 8050 Zürich

TITLE: TEMPORARY, until end of July: Bright, furnished 13m2 room in ~70m2

Hey! We're Kieran (British/Dutch) and Sinéad (French-speaking Swiss), a couple in our early thirties. We have just moved into our apartment in Oerlikon, but as Sinéad is currently finishing her PhD in Lausanne while Kieran works in Zurich, we're up and down between the cities a lot. We'd like to have a roommate for 2-3 months: mid-April onwards until Sinéad fully moves in at the end of July (negotiable). You'd often have the place to yourself until that time!

Sinéad is in palaeontology while Kieran is a social scientist in tech. We're both quiet and open-minded people, and enjoy cooking and going out for coffee, as well as podcasts and too many series. Happy to chat and eat together spontaneously, but no commitments desired on either side.

The room has a bed and (new) mattresses – it can be converted from an 80cm to a 160 as you prefer and has some storage space underneath. We can supply a desk and chair (not the ones pictured), as well as a clothes rack.
Fibre internet (10Gbit) is included.
We will share the kitchen/living room/bathroom with you, as well as all of the equipment we have in there (such as the dishwasher, big plus), TV (Netflix, HBO included ;)), sofa etc. The apartment is non-smoking, and has no balcony.

The building is ~10 years old and built to minergie standards, with good noise insulation (occasionally the restaurant downstairs is audible). The laundry room on the ground floor doesn't have a schedule, and we're 10-15 minutes walk from Oerlikon train station, slightly less to supermarkets.

We're ideally looking for someone similarly quiet/clean, open-minded, English or French speaking, around late 20s to 30s. Happy to meet you over video chat if you're outside of the country!

The rent would be 950CHF/month, including cleaning lady every couple of weeks, internet, water/electricity and heating.

After meeting, we will need proof of income/debt record/permit, and a deposit of 1800CHF (paid into a bank-controlled rental deposit account). No pets/instruments/smokers are allowed.
