I am looking for a new tenant for my beautiful, bright room with a view of the greenery to the east. It is about 12 square meters and is very practical in layout. I am looking for a working person aged between 25-33 years. We are neither a party flat nor a purpose flat. It is generally rather quiet here. It is important that you enjoy living in a community and occasionally participate in joint flat dinners. If it fits, of course more :) We generally live by the motto "everything can and nothing must". It is also important that you value consideration and are willing to participate in the cleaning schedule. It would be great if you were interested in taking over some furniture (about 100CHF).
Our flat has a large and modern kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, oven/steamer, and plenty of storage space. We have 2 bathrooms, a large living room with a couch, TV, game console, as well as a west-facing balcony with a large dining table, grill, and a small raised bed. In the basement, we have a laundry room with 3 washing machines and dryers each. We have 3 laundry cards; you can wash at any time and there is usually something free. We also have a bike room. In front of the house, there are guest parking spaces; upon request, you can rent an underground parking space, and resident parking is also very possible in the nearby area.
We live in the quiet residential area of Rütihof, very close to the Hönggerberg forest (about 5 min.). A small Coop is within walking distance (about 4 min.), as is the Geeringstrasse bus stop (about 2 min.), from where you can reach the main station in under 25 minutes with line 46, and in about 8-10 minutes at Wieslergasse station or Meierhofplatz, where there is a large Migros, 2x Denner, Alnatura, pharmacies, and much more; with the 89 or 485 you can reach Altstetten station in about 10 minutes and in 2 minutes at Frankental station, where there is a large Coop and a bakery. Also nearby is the "Freibad zwischen den Hölzern" (about 5 min. by bike, not much more by bus/on foot). You are really well connected, the buses run every few minutes, even on weekends. And for party lovers: the Nightliner 4 runs from HB via Escher-Wyss-Platz to Rütihof - pure luxury!
Currently, besides me, Alice (biologist, originally from Ticino; speaks IT, EN, FR and also quite good DE; she has been subletting here since May 2024 and is expected to stay until November 2025) and Valie (psychomotor therapist, originally from Fribourg; she has been living in the flat for 2 years). Louana will move in on June 1 (hairdresser, cheerful person and true Zurich native, returning to her hometown after some time elsewhere). English is our general flat language, but depending on the situation, German or French is also spoken among each other. At the end of the year, when Alice leaves the flat, Adriano, our main tenant, is expected to return; he is currently finishing his PhD in Lausanne.
