PLEASE READ CAREFULLY TO THE END FIRST! Only personal messages will be considered (no copy & paste requests)! PLEASE ONLY CONTACT IF A SMALL ROOM IS NOT A PROBLEM FOR YOU!!!
We are looking for a new flatmate (also temporary (min. 1 year) possible) for our cozy home in Höngg, including 3 cute cats. To maintain a good mix, preferably a female person.
The apartment and the room
Our apartment extends over the two upper floors of a two-family house and has 8.5 rooms. In the lower area, there is a cozy living room with a fireplace, an "office-creative room" with an armchair (sometimes also a cat room), a kitchen, a dining room, a storage room, a toilet, and a small but nice balcony. Upstairs you will find the bedrooms, a yoga/meditation/sports room, and a bathroom with a shower. In addition, there is a huge attic and a cellar compartment. Washing machine and dryer are available, without any washing plan stress.
The room (CHF 805.-) is small (!!) facing southwest, unfurnished, and has a wall that consists entirely of built-in wardrobes. There is NO space for much more furniture than a 140x200cm bed!! But you can let loose in the many other rooms. (Bedrooms are only for sleeping anyway). It is available from July 1, 2025, later move-in possible).
The rent covers TV/internet, Serafe, electricity/water, recycling subscription, a buffer for shared purchases (e.g., wood for the fireplace), (for room 2 the furnishing surcharge) and a cleaning lady for the common areas 2x a month. Household costs such as toilet paper, garbage bags are shared via Tricount. A deposit of about 1.5 months' rent is also required.
The surroundings
Our apartment is located in beautiful Höngg, super well connected. In 2 minutes you can reach the stops Schwert and Meierhofplatz (lines 13, 46, 80). Large Coop, Migros, Alnatura, Denner, and many small shops are within walking distance. The recreational area with forest and the Limmat with the Werdinsel are only a 10-minute walk away. The ASVZ sports facility Hönggerberg is just around the corner. Cozy parks with great views are also nearby. Our few neighbors do not mind if it gets a little loud for a longer time. And the administration is also super relaxed.
Who we are
I, Marielle (36) love animals, nature, yoga, spirituality, Goa festivals, board games, and I always try out new sports and creative hobbies (preferably together). I love to express myself while cooking (vegan) and enjoy deep conversations and black humor just as much as cozy Netflix evenings in front of the fireplace, good books, or time just for myself. I like people who appreciate the beauty of life and are interested in personal growth.
Calin (27) comes from Romania. He has been living in this house for 3 years, is a student at UZH, and is currently doing his master's in Sustainable Finance. In the evenings, he likes to chat and occasionally enjoys having a drink together on the balcony. He also likes to do things together from time to time.
Gerrit (23) is moving in with us in August.
What we are looking for
We are looking for you if you appreciate a cozy home and ensure that it stays clean and tidy – even without a cleaning plan. You are welcome to contribute decoratively and creatively. We are open to ideas and look forward to joint projects.
Our coexistence is relaxed and flexible. Sometimes a glass of wine or a game together, but also each for themselves, without any bad conscience. A good balance is important to us.
You fit perfectly with us if you have a positive attitude towards life, like to express yourself creatively, and maybe even inspire others. Mindfulness and respect are important to us, as well as open-mindedness and vegan-friendliness. Ideally, you are already experienced in shared living and have your most intense party time behind you.
And very important! We are looking for someone who will help take care of our furry friends (feeding, playing, cleaning the litter box, cuddling, etc.) and enjoys it. Because we are a foster home for cats, and since October, the three little house tigers Rala, Kaya, and Suki have been enlivening our home. Unfortunately, no other pets are allowed.
If you feel addressed, please write us a few personal words about yourself and why you would like to live here (please understand if it sometimes takes a few days for us to respond - we receive numerous inquiries. In addition, we only conduct personal introductory conversations. This can occasionally lead to waiting times in scheduling). We look forward to your message.
