Nearby: Located very centrally in the lively Länggasse district, a 5-minute walk to Zähringer-Migros, Sattler, Apfelgold, Gelateria di Berna, Coop, various restaurants. 10 minutes to university buildings (main building, Tobler, Unisport ZLF, Engehalde).
From Bern main station to Bierhübeli: Only two bus stops away – direct connections every 5 minutes with lines 11 and 21. There is a nice pizzeria in the building where we like to get pizza/pasta. There is also a bakery next door. By bus/bike you can reach Bremgartenwald or the city center in 5 minutes.
The room is:
In a bright 4-room old building apartment on the third floor (with elevator), which was renovated a few years ago.
The room is 15m2 large, has a beautiful parquet floor and high ceilings. It is located on the north side overlooking the courtyard. It is therefore quieter and cooler.
The apartment has a large entrance area with storage space and a comfortable sofa (perfect for movie nights), a fully equipped kitchen with a steamer, dishwasher and coffee machine. In the modern and spacious bathroom you will find a bathtub, washing machine and dryer. We have a lot of space, but unfortunately no separate living room or balcony. In the basement we also have a compartment for storage and a laundry-dryer room. In the backyard there are tables for cozy get-togethers and the bike also has a covered parking space.
WLAN is included in the monthly rent.
We are looking for:
We are looking for a friendly roommate (approx. 20-30 years old), who is uncomplicated and enjoys relaxed living together – to represent our dear Andrea during her year abroad (even though we know it will be difficult to find someone with such a charming Valais accent).
To keep things cozy, there is a chore/cleaning schedule that we do weekly – not a big deal and actually quite fairly divided.
The shared room will be rented until summer 2026. We can determine the exact date together. The room is rented furnished.
We are:
Andrea (22) studies business informatics and is going abroad for two semesters. Therefore, her room will be rented temporarily until summer 2026. After that, she will return to the shared apartment.
Oliver, active BME engineer (He will be 28 for the seventh time, it feels like), Sandro, food technologist (28) and Lea, medical student (22).
We appreciate a relaxed and respectful atmosphere where everyone can live their own rhythm. Everyone has their own daily routine, so that spontaneous things are done together during the week, but regular shared apartment evenings are also planned, where we cook, play or just chat.
Oliver always tries something new, from salsa to ski tours, currently he mainly goes jogging and plays tennis. At the moment he is looking for an apartment and will move out in the near future. Lea invests a lot of time in her medical studies, when she is not studying, she is an enthusiastic photographer, volleyball player and globetrotter. Sandro is a passionate gamer, enthusiastic about history and always has exciting facts at hand. He is currently looking for a job in the Bern or Aargau area and would possibly move closer to his workplace if a suitable position is found.
We look forward to hearing from you!
