Furnished WG room in Birsfelden/Basel in perfect location - 610.- (incl. utilities) available from 01.07.
Perfect location: Close to the city and central, near greenery, quick access to sports, shopping, and public transport.
The WG and the room are furnished with the essentials – everything necessary is there :).
If desired, the room can also be unfurnished.
The WG is limited until 30.06.2026 (1 year) due to renovations by the owner and cannot be extended there at least. If necessary, we will simply look for a new apartment in the area :).
The apartment is located at Rheinstr., 4127 Birsfelden (Baselland) - directly adjacent to Basel (2 minutes on foot).
The price also includes the utilities.

Looking for:
A relaxed, quiet, considerate, independent, and responsible person with a certain sense of cleanliness and who does not need to be cleaned up after :).
You are employed or studying.
Ideally, you are a commuter and like to be on the go, as the apartment is not super large and will probably reach its capacity when everyone is home on the weekends. During the week, it works better as everyone has a different rhythm.
Therefore, preferably looking for roommates who like to commute home on weekends or need a room because their work is in Basel - but this is not a criterion for exclusion, more of a nice to have 😊

WG Life
We are Felix, Jakob, and Joel.
Felix (27) is an animal caretaker at the animal shelter around the corner and originally comes from the area around Offenburg and is new to Switzerland for work :).
Jakob (32) works from home as a web developer. A German who grew up in Denmark and has roots in Bern with family and child. Jakob is therefore often in Bern - or in Greece for a few weeks with his love :).
Jakob says: I am calm, tolerant, and flexible (and clean?). I enjoy many different genres of music, mostly electronic, go out occasionally, mostly to defragment on a dark dance floor and enjoy the music. It is important to me to maintain the balance between privacy and togetherness, and that the home is cozy and clean, where one can relax.
Joel (32) is the main tenant of the WG and works as a project manager in Basel. He would describe himself as having diverse interests and being tolerant. He is interested in sports and tries to create a balance to the office routine.
During the week, he is often in the office, in the evenings boxing, and regularly in Germany (Stuttgart, Mannheim) on weekends to visit friends and family. Like Jakob, Joel values a respectful and harmonious coexistence, without pressure, but the opportunity to exchange ideas and do something together when it fits.

The WG

✔ Washing machine for shared use in the basement.
✔ Bicycle cellar.
✔ Small storage room in the basement (already quite filled).
✔ Courtyard garden for shared use.
X Attention: There is no living room.

Surroundings
✔ In the green: Rheinpark, Birsköpfli with outdoor sports park.
✔ Tram/Public transport: Directly around the corner. 10-15 minutes to Basel Bad Bhf and Basel SBB.
✔ Shopping opportunities: Migros, Coops, Denner all within walking distance (1-3 minutes), Aldi Germany (9 minutes by bike).
✔ Uni Basel and FHNW Muttenz easily reachable by bike.

Room:
Approx. 12sqm.
