We are Caro (28) and Martina (34) and live in a beautiful, large and bright apartment in Lorraine. Since our roommate is moving out at the end of August, we are looking for a third roommate or a couple as roommates for our shared apartment starting September 1st.
We founded the shared apartment in February as colleagues and consciously decided not to live together just the two of us – so that there is also something going on at home :)
To help you get to know us a bit, Caro wrote a text about Martina and vice versa – let's go:
Martina is a super sweet, attentive person who is convincing not least because of her sympathetic Bündner dialect. She loves being outdoors, dancing, painting, and enjoys having apéro. One of her favorite bars is the wine bar, and with the fries at the Rathaus Bar, you can really make her quite happy. What sometimes doesn't make her so happy is the cafeteria food at our shared workplace. But sometimes you can't have it all. To avoid cafeteria food two days a week, but mainly to pursue another passion, she also works as a physiotherapist in the hospital. With Martina, there is always something to laugh and talk about, and sometimes she also likes to chill alone :)
Caro is a very cheerful, versatile, and empathetic person. Moreover, she is a lot of fun to be with, but often deep and exciting conversations also arise. She earns her bread with the same office job as I do, but she is especially passionate about female leadership and cancer prevention, for which she enjoys being creative in her free time. Her enthusiasm for sun protection is limitless, which she shares with teenage students who are more or less enthusiastic about it ;) In her free time, Caro likes to be active; she goes hiking, skiing, swimming, and is currently learning to improvise on the piano. No worries, she has been playing for many years, so listening is not a torture :) (she has a digital piano, so headphones work too).
For our cohabitation, we wish for a person (or two people) between 25 and 39 years old who looks forward to a cozy and family-like home. Since we have only been living here for a few months, there is still plenty of room for design, especially ideas for our total 70 m2 terrace (split into 2) are very welcome – there are already some plants & herbs, (lounge) chairs, and a table. A hammock, more plants, and more seating options are still on the list. For living together, we wish for a familiar approach and also to spend time together more often (spontaneously or planned). During the week, we are often at home, cooking together, being creative together, watching trash series, and talking – often critically and feministically ;) On weekends, we are more likely to be out and about or have visitors (but we also brunch together or go for ice cream or something).
We communicate openly with each other, are clean, stick to the cleaning plan, and respect our needs :) If this sounds like a match to you, we look forward to hearing a few lines about you. Then we would like to get to know you soon – we want to take our time for that. At the moment, we imagine inviting you to a second WG evening after the first meeting to really find out if we can imagine living together.
