From September 2025, I have a free room to rent and am looking for a suitable roommate for a cool and uncomplicated shared apartment (2-person WG). For living together, it is particularly important to me that we show mutual consideration and keep the apartment clean and tidy. I am 36 years old, work part-time as a special needs educator (primary school) and study on the remaining days in St. Gallen. I am an open, quiet and easy-going type, enjoy sports, cooking and eating, like to go to concerts or other cultural events, etc.
WG Room: The room is beautiful and bright. It has parquet flooring, two large windows and a built-in wardrobe in the corner. The room is approx. 14m2 and has space for a bed, a desk and 1 – 2 small shelves / cupboards. Regarding the furnishing of your room, you can then gladly discuss with the previous tenant whether you would like to take over the furniture (bed, wardrobe, etc.) or not. In the sublet of 650 CHF all possible additional costs are included (heating, hot water, electricity, water and sewage, safe, internet & TV, caretaker). There are no additional costs. For the sublet we will make a written sublet contract.
Apartment in general: It is a beautiful and bright old building apartment in Art Nouveau style. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, a total of approx. 88 m2. The highlight is the beautiful and large living room with parquet floors including a small balcony. The apartment is very well maintained and has a modern standard of construction. The kitchen has another larger balcony. The building is located right next to the railway line. But since the apartment is well insulated and the bedrooms are oriented to the other side, the train traffic in the apartment is practically inaudible and also unproblematic at night. The apartment is already fully furnished and well equipped. Of course you are welcome to use the living room, kitchen and bathroom.
Location: The apartment is located in the heart of the charming Bruggen district and is well connected to public transport. The Bruggen and Haggen train stations are approx. 400m away on foot. By train, the main station is reachable in 4 minutes and the city centre by bus in approx. 20 minutes. There are several shopping facilities, e.g. Migros supermarket Bruggen (approx. 450m) or the Coop supermarket Lerchenfeld (approx. 800m). In addition, there are two bakeries and fine restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
