Single room for rent - 8610 Uster, Wagerenstrasse 17

We are a 5-person shared apartment (m29, m26, w24, w23) that has been looking for a new roommate since our 5th flatmate moved out at the beginning of May.

Life in our shared apartment is quite relaxed, and we meet spontaneously during the week or on weekends for a beer on our terrace or in the garden pavilion. We are not a purpose-driven shared apartment, and some of our members have been living together under one roof for years. Occasional movie nights in our cinema room are part of our shared activities, and if there is interest, we also organize a shared apartment outing. Our latest project is setting up a bar in the entrance area of our terrace. Tasks in the house or garden are distributed during occasional shared apartment meetings. We also have 4 cats in our household, who like to come by for cuddles. Unfortunately, due to our cat family, we cannot take in any more cats or dogs.

The house is well-equipped and is a 10-minute walk from Uster train station. Of course, it’s even faster by bike or bus ;-) There is also a gas station nearby, including a Migrolino, which is open daily until 23:45. Although we are not far from the center, the area around the house is very quiet.

The house also has a laundry room in the basement with a washing machine and dryer, which is additionally equipped with a bathroom (WC and shower). There is also a parking space in front of the house and a garage, which is currently mainly used as a storage room and workshop and is shared with the veterinary practice next door.

The available room is on the 1st floor, has an internet connection, and is equipped with a built-in wardrobe. Additionally, cabinets can be used directly in front of the room, and there is enough space in the house if additional storage is needed. Without the wardrobe, the usable area is about 12m². The room also has access to the balcony, which is shared with another room. The walls will be repainted before your move-in.
