We are seeking a new housemate for one of our rooms in Neu Oerlikon starting the 1st of June 2025. The size of the room is 13 m2 and is furnished, in addition to a wardrobe that needs to be taken over for 100.- CHF. The room has hardwood floors and two floor-length windows that open onto a private stretch of balcony. We would like to find someone interested to take over the lease shared with one of us. Therefore you will have to provide a work contract and payslip.
The monthly rent is 840 CHF, which includes all utilities and services (billag, internet, Züri-bags, etc). The apartment itself is of newish construction, with thick concrete walls, heated floors, and modern appliances. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a giant living room offers more space than we can use. A second balcony is also perfect for the occasional evening grill. In the basement, we have a private laundry room and a large storage room. Basement parking is available for an additional monthly fee of 150.-

We are A. (F33) and M. (M30), a postdoc at ETH and an engineer at a laser company respectively.
We value a balance between shared time and personal space—sometimes we chat in the kitchen or hang out, other times we keep to ourselves. There's no pressure either way—we're pretty flexible and respect each other's rhythms. Our home has a calm, friendly atmosphere, and we're looking for someone who appreciates that kind of vibe.
