Hello!
I am going on great adventures in August, and therefore, my gigantic room (seriously, it’s almost a studio) is available for about 8 months between August 2025 and April-May 2026 in a large shared apartment in Savigny. The exact dates can be discussed; I can free up the room earlier during the summer if necessary, but I can also take it back a little later.
The room is very, very spacious with a high ceiling. It is preferably to be taken furnished (we can discuss this, and it has a mezzanine to store all your things or furniture if needed!). If you agree to take the plants that go with it, I would be really happy too!
As for the shared apartment, you will share this beautiful and large house, the garden, and the pool with Sonia, Eline, Sophie, Ketura, and Alicia. Five women aged 20 to 60 with varied occupations and lifestyles, from studies to retirement!
If you are a woman who loves simplicity, has a sense of community, responsibility, and enjoys sharing while being independent, then you will surely feel at home here!
In short, the house, which has 3 floors, is located in the center of Savigny (about 11 minutes by bus to Sallaz). The area is quite well served during peak hours (I usually leave at 7:10 am to arrive at UniL for the 8 am classes), and now, night buses even leave on weekends from the center of Lausanne at 1 am and 3 am to drop you off 1 minute from the house!). Less than 5 minutes on foot, there is a pharmacy, a kiosk, a bakery, a Denner, and a fairly large Coop, so everything you need.
It has a large living-dining room with a fireplace, a smaller living room/guest room/etc., and a large kitchen in addition to the bedrooms. We also share 3 bathrooms (plenty for everyone!), a large basement, and especially a beautiful garden and above-ground pool, both maintained by us. We also have a car shelter! We coexist with a small cat named Poups.
The rent for the room is 750CHF per month, ALL charges (water, electricity, internet...) included; normally, 50CHF for communal expenses are added for garbage bags and other collective expenses, but I will continue to cover that during my absence.
We rent the house from very nice private owners on a lease that collectively binds us to the responsibility of the total rent. We will therefore sign a sublease contract!
If you are interested, please send us a little description of yourself and your situation. We will take advantage of the nice days to invite you for a visit and a little drink in the garden to get to know each other if the room interests you!
