The small village of Orlascio is located at an altitude of 1,720 m above Airolo. Due to its exact south orientation, it even has 8 hours of sunshine daily in December. The view is breathtakingly beautiful with a view of the opposite Lepontine Alps. A few kilometers away is Lake Ritom and 20 other mountain lakes, all accessible by day hikes or partially by E-bike. The area is also referred to as the water castle of Switzerland. The house with two apartments is directly accessible by car via the paved road to Lake Ritom. Only the last 300 m have to be covered via a dirt road. A car with all-wheel drive is advantageous but not absolutely necessary. The ground floor apartment of about 50 m² has a large living room with a fireplace and kitchenette. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. The apartment has running cold and hot water and electric power. It is fully furnished and can be used immediately. The apartment is insulated and can also be used in winter, with these limitations: Water must be fetched from a well in winter, and the road is not cleared from Altanca.
