Seeming to have sprung from a fairy tale...
...this sun-drenched dream property, nestled in pure nature and yet not far from civilization, seems to have sprung from a fairy tale. Surrounded by absolute tranquility thanks to its cul-de-sac location, the only neighbor and source of noise is the Rümlig, a short distance away, with its countless romantic bathing lagoons that gurgle intoxicatingly...
The house was completely renovated in 1995 to be used as a simple holiday home.
In 2008 it changed owners, who awakened it from its Sleeping Beauty sleep and transformed it into what it is today: An incomparably romantic oasis of contemplation and loving attention to detail, which skillfully uses a modern country house language.
The approximately 1700 m2 grounds include plum, cherry, pear, mulberry, fig, apricot, peach and apple trees, two spacious seating areas embedded in a sea of hydrangeas and reeds, and an enchanting natural pond fed by an adjacent stream directly next to the veranda, whose gurgling transports one to another world time and again. A vegetable garden is waiting to be brought to life.
The spaciousness of the interior rooms welcomes one already in the bright entrance hall and continues in the kitchen, living and dining areas, which soon flow seamlessly into one another.
A magnificent panoramic window front, which leads onto the veranda, dissolves boundaries again, as it seems to invite nature right inside!
In the south-facing winter garden, which leads onto the lower seating area, nature repeatedly jumps into one's lap. Here you can enjoy the outdoors even in rain and snow without unpleasant consequences!
This breathtaking dialogue with nature continues on the upper floor:
From the lounge, the view extends as far as the eye can see from a completely new perspective through a generous window front into the exuberant garden.
The two rooms facing east also offer an unrestricted view of the wide meadows stretching between the house and the river, where wild animals (chamois and deer) regularly graze, via access to a cozy balcony.
A spacious dressing room rounds off the spacious living experience. Here, all your favorite pieces not only find space, but are also presented in a boutique-like manner.
Up to four cars can be parked on the outdoor parking area, from which an access road leads to the house and makes it possible to drive heavy loads almost to the doorstep.
Behind the house, an open shed provides shelter for garden tools, bicycles, etc.
Public transport (post bus stop) is within a 3 km radius, the village of Malters is only 6 km away.
The city of Lucerne can be reached in about 20 minutes by car or 15 minutes by train (Park & Ride from Malters station)!
Despite the absolute rural idyll, the property is not suitable for keeping horses. Goats, chickens, geese, as well as dogs and cats, however, have found a home on the property for many years.
If you need neighbors, you've come to the wrong place.
Instead, undisturbed nature in abundance and an incomparable quality of life that will soon be nowhere else to be found await you here...
