Fehraltorf is located in the Kempttal, northwest of Pfäffikon and is the gateway to the Zurich Oberland. The municipality borders the district capital Pfäffikon, the municipalities of Russikon and Volketswil, as well as the cities of Uster and Illnau-Effretikon. With public transport (S3 train), the journey to Winterthur takes only 20 minutes. Zurich can be reached by car in 26 minutes or also by the S3. The train station is reachable in about 10 minutes.
