Living between Zurich and Zug in Aeugst a/A at over 700 m above sea level in an old farmhouse section (1850) with a distant view partly of the Alps and Lake Zug in the smaller village above the fog!
We are happy to rent our charming farmhouse with simple construction standards to a young family looking for affordable housing and willing to do renovation work (floors/walls) themselves. Ideal for craftsmen with the necessary freedoms from the landlord. The house has 2 living rooms (one of which is suitable as an office), a practical kitchen, and 4 bedrooms with a bathroom/WC, 1 hobby/wood room, natural cellar, wood central heating via "Tiba cooking stove" with storage and a tiled stove with baking possibility. Outside there is a small garden seating area and 2-3 parking spaces for cars, as well as an attic if needed. Washing machine and dryer are also available. In front of the house is a village well. Rent exclusive of electricity/water and heating energy.
Since the kindergarten for lower and middle school is only 4-5 minutes on foot, children grow up in an intact rural environment. Small grocery store and village shop within 2-5 minutes walking distance. Bus to Affoltern a/A every 30 minutes with connections to Zurich / Zug.
The house is unfortunately not suitable for shared apartments, as it only has one bathroom/WC.
The attic is insulated but without heating.
