Apartment
In 2020, the kitchen (with appliances from Siemens and V-Zug), bathroom, floor coverings (high-quality carpets from Tisca) and all built-in wardrobes were comprehensively and stylishly renovated. The entrance hall already offers a welcoming reception and – thanks to built-in wardrobes – plenty of storage space. The open-plan dining area with a view of the large window front conveys spaciousness. The kitchen, with its original orange tiles, also appears very spacious thanks to the practical pass-through and offers a view of the magnificent view. The bathroom has a bathtub and also original, dark tiles. The bedroom is bright and friendly thanks to the large window, and the view of the greenery is particularly attractive. The floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes make optimal use of the space.
Highlight
The unobstructed view is the heart of the apartment – whether during the day with changing light and weather moods or at night with the glittering city lights. The L-shaped balcony, which partially encloses the apartment, offers views in several directions: on the one hand over the city, on the other hand onto the beautifully landscaped garden and the diverse trees in the background.
Architecture
The apartment is located in one of the two terraced multi-family houses of a well-maintained settlement on Sädlenweg – in the middle of a pure residential zone. The architectural style is characterized by the spirit of the 1970s: Béton brut, spacious layout and wide window fronts create a bright, inviting atmosphere. The houses are optimally oriented to the southeast. The ensemble was designed by the Zurich architect Werner Biedermann, whose office was then located at Kalkbreite.
Location
Located in the popular Triemli district, part of the lively Wiedikon district (district 3), the apartment is quietly situated in a cul-de-sac – close to nature yet close to the city. The city center is easily accessible by tram, bus or the SZU. The Heuried sports facility with outdoor swimming pool, artificial ice rink and tennis courts is within walking distance. Numerous walking and hiking trails invite you to exercise and relax in the open air – ideal for jogging, walking or mountain biking. In winter, the popular toboggan run (Hohensteinweg) from the Uetliberg mountain station to Triemli offers a special highlight – right on your doorstep.
