Since the Bümpliz Süd train station is reachable within a few minutes on foot, our tenants are happy to forgo a car, contributing to a quieter community life and a safe environment for children. Should a car be necessary, a Mobility station is located just behind the settlement area.

The residents of the settlement place a high value on participatory living, which means that the residents actively shape the community life in the Burgundy settlement and are also willing to participate in the tasks and work that arise.

The partial self-administration includes the organization of maintenance, repair, and care work in the individual houses as well as the entire settlement area.
