The neighborhood

The historic Altstetten is part of the 9th district of Zurich, and there is much to see and experience. The neighborhood is home to a variety of bars and restaurants as well as several upscale international hotels. Altstetten was once an independent town but was incorporated into the city of Zurich in 1934.
