Apartment for rent - 8006 Zürich

We (M36 American and M33 Austrian) are looking for a new flatmate to move into the 3rd bedroom of our flat starting from June 8, 2025. We are a 1-minute walk from Beckenhof (access to trams 11 and 14) and just a 10 minute walk to HB. Rent is 1200 CHF/month, not including utilities. Utilities (Water, electricity, tv, internet) comes to about 60 CHF/person/month. As you'll see in the photos, we have a large living and dining room area that overlooks Letten, including the winter balcony. The kitchen is decently sized with 4 stovetops, an oven, fridge, dishwasher and plenty of storage space. Attached to the kitchen is also a small balcony that is ideal for meals when the weather is nice. The shower/tub and toilet are conveniently separated into two rooms. Finally, there's a shared bike room downstairs, shared laundry (our flat has it twice a week), and two storage units in the basement.

Our ideal flatmate is someone with some shared interests and fits into the dynamic of the flat. Besides that, our most important trait is cleanliness -- we generally clean once a week together. M36 is currently a postdoc who enjoys hiking, beach volleyball and tennis/padel in the summers, and climbing and skiing in the winters. M33 is a technical project manager who loves bikes, beach volleyball, fun talks over good coffee and cooking together. We both enjoy swimming at Letten in the summers, which is just a 2-minute walk away, and try to stay active by going to the gym, though we also like to unwind after a long day relaxing in front of the tv. We occasionally have friends over for aperos, dinner, or general hangouts, but we tend not to go past 11pm-midnight.
